COMMUNITY Action Wyre Forest (CAWF) will be hosting a fair in Kidderminster to provide advice on voluntary work and how to start up a business.

The CAWF extravaganza will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall from 10 to 4pm on Thursday.

There will also be a hand-made arts and craft fair where people can find out how to make or produce their own goods and services.

The annual volunteer fair will help people recruit volunteers or help people meet the charities they might want to volunteer for.

Thursday will also be the launch of the CAWF and Kidderminster Industrial Chaplaincy (KIC) Older Persons Apprenticeship Project.

The project is for people aged 40 who have been out of work for at least a year to help them get a paid apprenticeship with a charity.

CAWF and Wyre Forest District Council will also be launching KickStart Kidderminster Business for people who live in Wyre Forest and want to set up their own business.

CAWF business advisors will be on hand to offer advice.

The annual meeting for Community Support Initiatives will be held at 2pm and for CAWF at 3pm.
