Festive cheer: Santa toured Bewdley in the run up to Christmas and helped raise nearly £2,000.
FATHER Christmas spread some festive cheer around Bewdley, as his tour raised nearly £2,000 for community projects and charities.
Bewdley Round Table members collected £1,989 during its annual sleigh run across the town during the two weeks leading up to December 25 and were joined by Santa, several reindeer and some snowmen.
Scott Yearsley, community service officer for the round table group, said: "We are always taken aback by the generosity of the people of Bewdley. The money donated is always gratefully received and invested into community projects and deserving causes."
