TWO boxes of specialist records were stolen from outside a pub in Kidderminster.

The vinyl records were stolen from the Horsefair between 11am and noon last Wednesday.

The records, which are specialist soul, were in two DJ-style record boxes.

They were stolen from outside the Peacock pub while the owner, Terry Thomas of the Mr Tee’s shop opposite the pub, was unloading his vehicle.

The larger box contained about 200 assorted singles and was black with a silver trim and the smaller one, which was silver, contained about 100 records from the Outta Sight label. Both of the cases had handles.

Mr Thomas is offering a reward for information resulting in the return of the records and the arrest and conviction of the offender.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andy Forbes at West Mercia Police 101 quoting incident 138-s-150114, or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or at crimestoppers-uk.org.
