HISTORIANS are inviting Kidderminster residents to help carry out a survey of the town.

The exercise will help members of the Kidderminster Civic Society identify buildings of historical interest which may not be on the local heritage list and could benefit from inclusion.

The list is used to identify significant heritage buildings and sites and strengthen their role in the planning process.

The first in a series of meetings to complete the survey will take place tomorrow starting at 11am at the car park on the corner of New Road and Castle Road.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a clipboard and a digital camera and should email Stephen Bagust on or call 01562 636134.
