Bewdley insurance firm raise £3k for Kemp Hospice

A BEWDLEY insurance company has donated more than £3,000 to Kemp Hospice raised at its Christmas raffle.
The Canopius Group, owner of K Drewe Insurance in Bewdley, raised £3,272.50 for the hospice after member of staff Jane Spragg nominated the charity for the funds.
Nicky McCarthy, operations director at K Drewe Insurance, said: “Kemp Hospice provides an invaluable service to families in the local area and we are delighted to be able support them through our fundraising events.”
Kemp Hospice fundraiser, Elena Bloomfield, said: “We have a great relationship with K Drewe Insurance and we were thrilled to learn that part of their Christmas raffle proceeds would be coming to us.
“Jane Spragg who nominated Kemp has first-hand experience of the work we do here at the hospice. Thanks to donations of this nature throughout the year, we are able to maintain and grow our support for people in the local community.”
