A LAND Rover Defender vehicle was stolen during a car key burglary in Bewdley.

It happened off Park Lane between 5pm and 8.10pm on Monday, January 27.

The offenders smashed glass in a rear patio door and took the vehicle keys before driving it away.

The grey vehicle, registration VF 55 0YT, belonged to the owner’s late father, and is of sentimental as well as monetary value.

The vehicle has a number of distinctive features including four additional seats along each side of the rear.

Other items taken included a diamond and white gold dress ring worth £2,000, a white gold ring with diamonds worth £1,500, amongst other items of jewellery.

Police believe the vehicle may be in the Black Country, possibly the Dudley, Tipton or West Bromwich areas.
