WITH the glorious sunshine offering a first taste of spring, Sunday was the perfect day to start the new season of I Will wedding shows.

The venue was Stourport Manor Hotel, which buzzed with excitement as more than 120 brides and grooms-to-be – plus their families and friends – discovered inspiration for planning their big day.

Expert advice was on hand from a range of exhibitors, who displayed wedding essentials from gowns, cars and cakes to stationery, music and fireworks, while visitors were also able to investigate the amenities of the country house hotel.

Exhibitor Sharon Grove, of Arrive Wedding Cars, of Kidderminster, was especially happy with the event’s success: “It was a really good day for us; we were kept busy with lots of enquiries and we even had beautiful sunshine… what more could you ask for? The show was well-organised as always – the I Will team are brilliant!”

Helen Hall, general manager at Stourport Manor, added: “The show was very successful for us, as there were lots of brides interested in booking the hotel as a wedding venue. The I Will team ensured everything ran smoothly and the exhibitors all seemed happy – it really exceeded our expectations.”

The next I Will show takes place this Sunday, February 9, at The Hilton Hotel in Bromsgrove, running from 11am-3pm.

With plenty of free parking available, you can spend as long as you like browsing the stands – and don’t forget to enter the free prize draw to win a dream dress from this season’s sponsor, Bridal Boutique of Worcester!

The I Will wedding shows – run by the people behind local newspapers such as The Shuttle, Bromsgrove Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser, Stourbridge News, Halesowen News and Dudley News – bring together an array of services under one roof. This means couples and their families and friends can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
