THIS is the scene in Bewdley and Stourport as the river levels rose in the towns following torrential downpours.
Flood barriers remain in place in Bewdley along both sides of the river severn including Beales Corner.
The river level in the town is currently 4.26 metres and is expected to peak between 4.95 and 5.05 metres later today.
The B4194 Bewdley to Stourport Switchback is flooded and the road is closed.
Drivers are being warned not to put themselves at risk by driving through the flood water. Bewdley Bridge is also shut to traffic.
