Not standing still earns award for Stourport stationery business

STOURPORT family-owned business, Peter Handley has been named winner of the OFDA (Office Friendly Dealer Association) 2013 UK Dealer of the Year award, sponsored by Nestle.

Peter Handley marketing manager Emma Taylor said: “We were absolutely overwhelmed when the final award for Dealer of the Year was announced and it was Peter Handley. We were all just in total shock.”

From its original roots of stationery supplies, Peter Handley sources a range of business and educational products globally.

“It’s a fantastic achievement by Peter Handley to win the prestigious Dealer of the Year award," said Chris Nichols, commercial director of the Office Friendly Dealer Association.

"It is awarded to those businesses who strive for excellence in sales, marketing and, more importantly, customer service and Peter Handley delivered in all three. They are a brilliant company and worthy winners - well done.”

Peter Handley managing director Paul Liggins said: “To be nominated when you’re up against over 200 members nationally is an honour but to be selected as the overall winner of such a prestigious industry award is fantastic and testament to the dedication our team continues put in to supporting our customers.”

He added: “Our business is dependent on service, so to be chosen above so many others in the marketplace is just simply fantastic for the business.”
