A CRIME prevention shop will be opening in Bewdley town centre this weekend giving home security advice to residents and shoppers.

The shop will offer crime prevention advice from West Mercia Police as well as vehicle security materials from Safer Wyre Forest and Community Safety Partnership.

People can also get advice and information from other organisations including Neighbourhood Watch and Environmental Services.

Bewdley Tenants Consultative Committee members will have bicycle security advice and Neighbourhood wardens employed by the Community Housing Group will also be offering property marking advice.

The shop will be open at Bewdley Youth Café, 54 Load Street, on Saturday (February 22) and will be open from 10am until 3pm.

Officers from Bewdley & Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team will also be available to discuss community issues or concerns y as well as property marking bicycles on the day.
