A £3.4m building project to spruce up a Cookley school has finally been completed.
The work to revamp Cookley Sebright Primary School is finished, two years after the builders started work on the site.
The school now has a purpose-built nursery unit and a community room, which is being used for a breakfast and after-school club.
The school grounds have been enlarged to provide additional playgrounds and sports fields.
Martin de Vine, headteacher, said: “We have always had a reputation as a high-achieving school and now we have the accommodation to match.
“This is a high-quality learning environment everyone can be proud of for generations to come.”
The £3.4m project was funded by Worcestershire County Council. The historic, architecturally- significant parts of the building were retained and adapted to suit the new, larger school.
