A FIRE engine has been involved in a collision with a car in Kidderminster.
The incident, which involved a Nissan Almera, happened in Worcester Road at the Hoobrook island just before 3.15pm.
An ambulance was scrambled to the scene along with a paramedic and a rapid response vehicle.
An elderly man, who was driving the Nissan, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, with shoulder injuries.
One lane was closed by police but is expected to be reopened shortly.
