7:50am Thursday 27th March 2014 in News
A RAFFLE at a Stourport bank raised more than £400 for Kemp Hospice.
The TSB Stourport branch raised £413 for the hospice and plan to match the amount.
Clair Andrews, customer service advisor at Stourport TSB, said: “As soon as we learnt that we were able to choose a local charity, we immediately thought of Kemp Hospice, especially as they have a charity shop just around the corner.
"We were completely overwhelmed with the response from local businesses who kindly donated prizes.”
Kemp Hospice provides support for patients, families and carers dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement in Wyre Forest.
KEMP Hospice fundraiser Elena Bloomfield said: "We really appreciate the hard work and effort the staff here have put into this raffle, especially with the area suffering from the effects of the floods.
“They have done amazingly well and Kemp Hospice would like to say thank you to all staff at TSB Stourport and their customers, as well as the many local businesses that supported the raffle by providing so many wonderful prizes.”
