WYRE Forest patients will have the opportunity to comment on the service they have received at hospitals in Dudley.

Later this year, the Care Quality Commission will be inspecting the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley and Corbett Hospital, in Stourbridge, which provide services to patients from Wyre Forest.

Healthwatch Worcestershire is collecting comments from those in the district who have used the hospitals and have an experience of the service they think CQC inspectors should be aware of.

Isobel Dale, a Healthwatch Worcestershire director, said: "These CQC inspections are a real opportunity to improve services but the commission needs our support as patients and service users to provide it with the information it needs, so please if you have a view get in touch with us."

Healthwatch Worcestershire is an independent champion set up to strengthen public and patient voices and ensure health and social care services are shaped by local needs and experiences.
