TRADERS are invited to apply to have stalls at Wyre Forest District Council’s annual outdoor events.

They are needed to sell a range of items including homemade crafts and local products at events such as the the Rock and Roll Festival, on Sunday, June 1, the Country and Western Festival, on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17 and the outdoor cinema event.

The festivals attract up to 1,000 people each day and will run from noon until 8pm on the Saturday and 10am to 5pm on the Sunday. They will both be held at Stourport Riverside. Bar and catering facilities are available , so no food stalls are needed.

The outdoor cinema event at Brintons Park, Kidderminster, will show the film Mamma Mia on Saturday, August 30, from 5pm.

Last year about 2,000 people turned out for the event and traders of all stall types, including food, are invited to sell their goods.

Conservative councillor Ian Hardiman, cabinet member for community wellbeing, said: “We would love to see what local traders have on offer.”
