PARENTS with children under four are being invited to a new weekly stay and play session at Cookley Primary School.

The sessions, which are being run by Wyre Forest early help service 10:32, will take place at the Lea Lane school each Thursday from 1.30pm to 2.45pm starting today.

Children and their parents or carers will be able to take part in activities designed to boost children's early development and help ease them into nursery or school.

10:32, which supports parents of children up to 19 years old, is delivered by a consortium led by Barnardo’s, Vestia Community Trust and ContinU Trust on behalf of Worcestershire County Council.

The sessions costs 50p per family and also provide the opportunity for parents to meet with others, talk, share ideas and make new friends.
