THE Emily Jordan Foundation will be showcasing the work they do supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities at an open day in Kidderminster.
The foundation runs three separate enterprises helping individuals who would struggle to get into the workplace to learn valuable skills.
Its open day, at the foundation's headquarters at unit nine, Finepoint Way in Kidderminster, will bring together bicycle workshop Spokes, horticultural workers Twigs and the new woodworks team on Tuesday, April 8 from noon until 2.30pm.
The foundation was set up in memory of 21-year-old Emily Jordan, of Trimpley, who drowned while river boarding in New Zealand in 2008.
Her parents Chris and Sarah Jordan set up the charity as a legacy to Emily, who spent much of her spare time with her brother Alex, who has learning difficulties.
The open day will include special offers on bicycle services and on planters. There will be free refreshments and a chance to enter a raffle.
