Harriers got the win they needed to keep up their late bid for a play-off place in the Skrill Premier.
Second-half goals from Bell and Gash rounded off an impressive display as Gary Whild's men moved up to seventh in the table.
Halifax gained an important away win over Grimsby to go into third place, and Harriers are now five points away from the play-off slots with three games remaining.
They visit bottom-of-the-table Hyde on Friday afternoon.
