A RAINBOWS group in Kidderminster have had their own flag dedicated at an Easter service.
The third Kidderminster Rainbows group has grown to 25 members and has six adults and two young leaders lending a hand.
Reverend Derek Arnold helped the Rainbows to bring their new flag into use at St Johns CofE Primary School's Easter service.
The unit have recently enjoyed taking part in a science badge challenge, an Easter egg hunt and had a visit from Animalmania where they were able to hold snakes and lizards.
The girls will soon visit Twycross Zoo for a Midlands Guiding event.
Angela Pomeroy, a Rainbow Unit leader of third Kidderminster Rainbows, said: βIt was extremely nice of headteacher, Lawrence Gittins, to allow the Rainbows to wear their uniform to school and for us to have our flag dedicated after their Easter Service.
"The girls were very excited to get their own flag, which we will be able to show for the first time when we attend the St George's Day Service.β
