A POLISH man has gone missing from Kidderminster Hospital.

Andrzej Matuszczyk, 37, was last seen in the car park at the Bewdley Road hospital, where he was a patient, at 11.45am on Monday, April 14.

He is described as 6ft, of slim build, with short dark hair and was last seen wearing burgundy and grey camouflage combat trousers, army-style black boots, a black jumper, black fleece and possibly a black cap.

Mr Matuszczyk, who does not speak English, came to the country in December and worked for a few months at a mushroom factory in Evesham.

Insp Paul Crowley, of West Mercia Police in Kidderminster, said: "We are very concerned for this man's welfare as he hasn't been seen for 10 days. He doesn't speak any English and may appear to be scared or anxious. He does not know the Kidderminster area well.

"He could be anywhere in Worcestershire or he may have moved on to the West Midlands. We are asking anyone who knows him or has seen him since April 14 to contact us."

Anyone with information about Mr Matuszczyk and his whereabouts should call police on 101, quoting incident 612-S-140414, or call charity Missing People on 116 000.
