AN Easter service and party was held at the Elizabeth Mills Centre in Stourport for day service users.
More than 40 people attended the Easter service, conducted by Reverend Phil Hoar of Stourport Methodist Church, to sing traditional hymns and listen to the Easter message.
The centre also hosted an Easter party which included entertainment from singing duo Chloe Davies and Jess McPhee, of Stourport High School.
Chloe, 12, is the great-granddaughter of centre users Joan and Geoff Neal and along withJess helped to judge the centre's Easter bonnet competition.
Board member Don Giles said: "People had obviously entered this competition with great enthusiasm. There must have been about 20 entries and most were cleverly designed. Judging by Chloe and Jess was therefore quite difficult.
"The best bonnet was made by Margaret Warren, with the runner-up Ann Murgatroyd. The entertainment finished with Chloe and Jess singing two songs from Whistle Down the Wind."
The Elizabeth Mills Centre, which is a registered charity, runs a range of activities to promote health and well-being for people in Stourport and the surrounding area.
