A KIDDERMINSTER recruitment firm is inviting businesses to a series of free breakfast seminars to help them stay ahead of changes to employment law.

The sessions, run by eResponse Recruitment, will help to keep businesses up-to-date with current human resources trends, changes in the market place and best practice.

The first seminar, led by Kirstie Stuart, owner of Kidderminster-based Stuart HR Consultancy, will be held on Thursday, May 15 from 9am at the firm's office in Church Street, Kidderminster.

It will focus on changes that came into force in April which handed all employees the right to request flexible working and new rules allowing parents to share parental leave following the birth of a child.

Tina White, marketing and communications manager for eResponse, said: “We have spent years helping people find work and gain the right skills. But it’s just as important the companies and organisations providing those jobs are given the support and advice to make it as easy as possible.

“We’ve been running our series of seminars for over three years and through the latest programme people can hear from experts, network with others and share ideas.

“The first seminar will cover some key employment law issues and help to make sure local businesses aren’t caught out by recent changes."

The second seminar will be held on Thursday, May 22 at Sixways Stadium in Worcester.
