A MAN was punched in the face and pinned to the floor before his car was stolen in Stourport.
The victim, 29, and the offender, who are known to each other, encountered each other in Warwick Street on Friday, May 9 at about 3.30pm.
The offender than followed the victim into Lorne Street where he demanded money, assaulted the victim and then took his car keys.
He then stole his car, a burgundy Fiat Punto, before abandoning it in nearby Manor Road.
The victim was seen by a paramedic but was not seriously injured.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
