THE Norwegian Seafood Council has teamed up with a Kidderminster chippy to sell Norwegian cod and chips to celebrate Norway Day.
Our Plaice, in Comberton Hill, will be selling portions for 99p on Saturday while stocks last.
The Norwegian Seafood Council is working in partnership with 99 fryers across the UK and has gifted a total of 16 tonnes of cod as part of the initiative.
Greg Howard, of Our Plaice and president of the National Federation of Fish Fryers, said: "We are so pleased to be taking part in this annual celebration.
"Fish and chips are a firm favourite in the West Midlands. I know that our customers will enjoy the delicious Norwegian cod and chips on offer and they will certainly enjoy the prices too."
