A CHARITY golf day will tee off in memory of a Kidderminster man who died of leukaemia.
The eighth annual event in tribute to Stephen Hayden, of Chester Road North, who died aged 26 of Acute Myeloid Leakaemia in August ,2006, will be held at Wharton Park Golf Club, Longbank, Bewdley, tomorrow, with registration at 10am.
So far the competitions have raised more than £40,000 for Cure Leukaemia, a charity based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham, where the former King Charles I High School student received treatment.
Players will tee off at 1pm for a round of 18 holes played to Stableford Rules off a 3/4 handicap.
