A 33-year-old Kidderminster woman has pleaded guilty to two charges of drug dealing.

Lisa Mills, of Hawfinch Rise, Kidderminster, admitted possessing cannabis and cocaine with intent to supply between October 21 and October 24, 2011.

She appeared at Worcester Crown Court with Aram Bapeery, 32, of Small Heath, Birmingham, who followed proceedings through a Kurdish interpreter and also pleaded guilty to the cocaine charge.

The court heard the case had taken a long time through no fault of the defendants. It had first reached court in September, 2012 and Mills and Bapeery both intended to plead not guilty but the trial had been delayed for a number of different reasons.

They changed their pleas as a trial was due to start yesterday and the case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports. They were given bail and are both due to return to court for sentencing on July 18.
