A 21-YEAR-old man has been assaulted by a group of five men in what police believe was an unprovoked attack in Kidderminster.

The incident happened at about 1.30am on Sunday, June 15, as the victim, who is from Kidderminster was approached by the group as he stood with friends at the junction of Comberton Hill and Lorne Street.

The men ran off in the direction of the traffic lights on Comberton Road.

Members of the group were described as between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall. Four of the group were white and wearing dark coloured tracksuits and one mixed race male was wearing a black v-neck jumper with a VOI logo.
