A MAN'S watch was stolen during a street robbery in Kidderminster.

The incident happened between 9.45am and 10.30am on Friday, June 6, in Bewdley Road.

The victim, a 35-year-old man, was walking along Bewdley Road, past Kidderminster Hospital, when he was approached by a slim, 6ft tall man wearing a dark blue or jet black jumper, dark blue tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

The offender, who is thought to be known to the victim, pushed him and demanded money. The victim then went to a cash point with the offender to prove to him he did not have any money. The offender then stole the victim's watch and walked off past Tesco Express, Bewdley Hill.

The victim did not sustain any injuries but was shaken by the incident.

A 30-year-old man from Kidderminster has been arrested on suspicion of robbery of personal property in connection with the incident. He has been released on police bail, to return to the police station on July 26.
