WYRE Forest residents are being invited to Sainsbury’s in Kidderminster to speak to MP Mark Garnier MP about local matters.

The MP’s next surgery session takes place on Thursday from 9.30am until 11am in the customer cafe area of the store.

Mr Garnier will also be speaking to Sainsbury’s staff and finding out how the store supports local charities, as well as the success of the Active Kids programme, which has helped to donate sports, cooking and gardening equipment to schools in Kidderminster.

Mr Garnier said: “I already hold pre-booked surgeries and have done since being elected but I am grateful to Sainsburys for giving me the opportunity to hold a drop-by surgery at their store.

“It is important that we do our best to explore every way we can of generating dialogue between MPs and their constituents.”

Samantha Buckley and Helen Bower, PR ambassadors for Sainsbury’s, said: “This surgery provides local residents with a great opportunity to ask their questions to Mark Garnier.

“We’re delighted to be hosting this surgery and further shows the impact our stores can have in the local community.”
