A FAMILY fun day will take place in support of Leah Perry, the Stourport girl who needs to raise £12,000 for life-changing equipment that will give her a voice for the first time.

The event, on Saturday from noon to 4pm at Bewdley Leisure Centre, will feature mascots Peppa Pig and Micky Mouse, bouncy castles, quad bike races, face painting and refreshments.

Entry is 50p for adults and free for children and all the money generated will contribute to the appeal.

Leah has Rett Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that has prevented her from ever being able to speak, but a specialist computer would enable her to communicate using eye movements.
