CHURCHES in Kidderminster came together this week to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.
The churches invited members of the public to St Mary’s Church in Kidderminster on Sunday evening for a service for peace, which featured a selection of readings, music and reflection.
During the service, led by The Rev Alex Vaccaro, white balloons were released bearing messages of peace from churches, schools, care homes, organisations and individuals.
