MEMBERS of the public are invited to attend the NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) annual meeting.

The body represents 12 GP practices, serving a population of 112,000 patients and has a budget of approximately £127 million.

Dr Simon Rumley, chairman and clinical lead for NHS Wyre Forest CCG, said: “The AGM will give the public the opportunity to find out about our achievements in 2013 to 2014.

“There will be a presentation of the annual report and financial accounts and we will also be discussing the challenges and opportunities for the NHS in the Wyre Forest.

“I hope that as many local people as possible will be able to join us to find out more about their local CCG.”

To attend the annual meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, September 2 at 9.30am in the council chamber of Wyre Forest House, Finepoint Way in Kidderminster, email sally-anne.evans@worcestershire.nhs.uk or call 01527 482905.
