BURGLARS who broke into a house in Kidderminster netted goods including a 1947 tennis racket, complete with its original case and balls.

A pressure washer, solar garden lights, and a telescopic hosepipe equipment were also stolen in the raid in Brambling Rise.

Damage was caused to garden seat cushions, a garden cabinet and a tool box in the break-in, which happened between 9.30am on August 15 and 3.30pm on August 23.

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses to the crime to contact them on 101, quoting incident 0434S of August 23, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or at www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Detectives also reminded householders to make sure their homes and outbuildings are secure, with good quality locks and an alarm.
