Hair stylists cut charity into funds
A KIDDERMINSTER hair salon is joining in a cancer fundraising campaign.
Supercuts, based at Derrick Burcher's Mall, is launching a series of efforts to raise money for Cancer Research UK, which has teamed up with Channel 4 to launch the "Stand up to Cancer" campaign.
The event will end with a live TV fundraiser on October 17, hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen.
The salon will be collecting extra charity funds through credit and debit card donations, where customers can choose to donate when paying for their hair and beauty treatments.
Supercuts will also be offering two exclusive "Stand Up To Cancer" hairstyles from October 13 to 17, with half of the price being donated to the campaign.
