A SHORT wave radio station is being set up by a Kidderminster church to promote the Christian fellowship.
The congregation of St Barnabas Church, in Wolverley Road, Franche, will launch the station with the help of local Radio Ham as part of the Churches and Chapels on the Air (CHOTA).
The station will this year be set up in the Community Hall on Saturday, September 13, between 10am and 6pm.
To coincide with the launch, the church will be holding a coffee morning and cake sale from 10am until noon.
The Rev Jan Ashton, team vicar, said: “If you are interested in short wave radio, do come along and join in the fun.”
