A STOURPORT social centre’s lunch service has had to change its ordering system after receiving too many interested customers.
The Elizabeth Mills Centre, in New Street, now requires users of the lunch service to order the meals 24 hours in advance by leaving a voicemail message over the phone.
Ann Hill, chairman of the centre, said: “We’ve become a victim of our own success as we can’t cope with the amount of people we currently have.
“We hope our users will please help us to save their own disappointment as we don’t want to turn people away.”
The meals are available to anyone in the town over the age of 55.
To book a lunch at the centre 24 hours in advance call 01299 823240.
