A 25-YEAR-OLD woman has been cleared of the attempted armed robbery of a 15-year-old girl in a Kidderminster town centre street.
Worcester Crown Court was told that the alleged victim had refused to give evidence against Katrina Watkinson, of George Street, Kidderminster.
Prosecutor Sally Cairns offered no evidence so Judge Michael Cullum discharged Watkinson with a not guilty verdict.
She had denied attempting to rob the girl of money and her mobile phone in Park Lane on July 7 last year while armed with a knife.
