A MAN has been left in critical condition after he was assaulted in a Kidderminster street.
The 28-year-old is in a critical but stable condition at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham, after the incident in Dixon Street on Sunday, October 12, at about 3am.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and it currently on police bail.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to come forward, particularly a woman who provided medical support at the scene before emergency services arrived. She made reference to being in the military.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 115S of Sunday, October 12.
