GENEROUS shoppers and staff at two Kidderminster stores helped raise funds to support a local school.

Nisa Local stores based in Tennyson Way, Offmore and on Canterbury Road, Habberley, collected £1,000 for Offmore Primary School through the company’s ‘Making a Difference’ scheme.

Money was raised through the sale of a selection of products bearing the ‘Making a Difference’ logo on them.

The school will use the cash boost to purchase new equipment and improving facilities for pupils.

Jordha Sanghera, manager of the stores who chose Offmore Primary as this year’s beneficiary of the scheme, said he was delighted to have raised the money for the school.

He added: “I hope our customers will continue to support the scheme by buying our special Making a Difference' products so we can continue to make a positive difference for our local communities.”
