Paul Brothwell, group chairman, said: “The benefits this robot will bring to patients in Worcestershire are huge.
“Our members are keen to support the appeal and are already making plans for future fundraising events.”
Adel Makar, consultant urological surgeon and lead cancer clinician, received the donation of behalf of the hospital trust.
Mr Makar said: “We are so grateful to the support group for raising this fantastic amount for our appeal.
“Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. The more people we can get behind our appeal, the sooner we can start improving treatment for our patients.”
