AUDIENCES in Great Witley will be feeling blue when Mumbo-Jumbo hit the a stage with their own take on the genre.
The close-harmony acoustic trio are set to bring their relaxed, eclectic sound to the village hall with their Troubadours and Raconteurs Show tomorrow (Friday, October 3).
Led by two of the Midlands' most experienced Blues musicians, Oliver Carpenter and Chris Lomas, and featuring new piano and squeezebox player Phil Ball, the band combine to produce a sound all of their own playing uplifting, innovative original songs plus some more familiar tunes, all delivered with a real sense of humour.
With their album Life of Riley still getting rave reviews and lots of radio airplay, plus a nomination in the British Blues Awards for Best Songwriting, festival favourites Mumbo-Jumbo bring something new wherever they play, building the audience into the show.
Tickets, which cost £8, are available online from mumbo-jumbo.biz or can be booked by calling 01299-896702. Show starts at 8.00pm.
