KIDDERMINSTER and District Scouts will be making their seasonal postal delivery once again.

For the 23rd year, the 12 groups will be delivering Christmas post to the areas around Kidderminster, Cookley, Wolverley and Blakedown.

Stamps for the Scouts Christmas post cost 20p each, with the money raised being shared between all 12 groups.

The stamps will be on sale from Tuesday, November 25 until 4pm on Friday, December 19, where the sorting of the post will begin.

More than 40 green Scouts post boxes will be located around the four areas for people to make their Christmas communications.

They will be found at various locations including pharmacies, fish and chop shops, pet shops, sport and social clubs, hairdressers and estate agents.

A full list of the locations is available at the Kidderminster Town Hall hub.

Once the sorting of the post has been done, the hundreds of Scouts from the area will become postmen, delivering the letters to local residents’ doors.

Organisers have asked residents to not post letters for outside the four areas, especially to those addressed to Father Christmas as they can unfortunately not be delivered.
