AFTER a successful concert at Kidderminster Town Hall last week, the town’s Choral Society will be returning later in the month for its Gala Christmas Concert.
The festive feast of music from 7pm on Saturday, December 20, is bringing together Wyre Forest Young Voices, Primary Chords and Holborne Brass to get the audience in the yuletide spirit.
Peter Knott, society publicity officer, said: “The Gala Christmas Concert is where we like to think Christmas really begins.
“We shall be putting on a feast of celebratory music, including carols for the audience to join in with.”
Last week the society performed a concert of arias and choruses by Italian masters of opera including Rossini, Verdi, and Puccini, as well as other composers such as Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Wagner and Gershwin.
