ALL of Worcestershire’s libraries, including those in Wyre Forest, will close at 1pm on Wednesday, December 24, and remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
The libraries, apart from The Hive, will also be closed all day on Sunday, December 28.
On New Years Eve, the libraries which are normally open will close at 3pm.
All of the libraries will be closed on New Years, and will reopen as normal from Friday, January 2.
Cllr Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member for localism and communities, said: “We would like to wish all of our library customers a happy festive season and remind everyone that if you are a member of Worcestershire’s libraries even when the libraries are closed you can still get access to eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines and your account 24/7 on your laptop, tablet or other mobile device, and it’s free.”
