AS part of their ongoing maintenance programme, Severn Valley Railway has to carry out some structural repairs to the stone and brickwork of the viaduct where the railway passes over Kidderminster Road, Bewdley.
In order to carry out the work safely and as quickly as possible, it will be done from a small scaffold.
Work will commence on Monday, January 26, for two weeks.
A small scaffold will be erected and traffic will be controlled by two way traffic lights.
Safe access for pedestrians through both phases of the work will be maintained.
George Law Ltd has been appointed as the contractors for SVR to carry out this work.
