A MAN has been arrested following a four car collision, involving eight people, that took place in Kidderminster yesterday afternoon.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the incident near the junction of Chester Road and Birmingham Road.
None of the people involved in the collision, which took place at about 5.15pm, were trapped or seriously injured, but two casualties were taken to hospital.
The road was blocked up to the junction with Hurcott Road, but was reopened at about 6.45pm after the cars had been recovered.
West Mercia Police, who also attended the scene, arrested one man, a 42-year-old from Kidderminster, for dangerous driving.
Police are also appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 429 of 22nd January.
