STUDENTS at Baxter College donned their leather jackets and applied their hair gel, for their performance of this year’s chosen musical.

More than 40 students at the college on Habberley Road performed to three sell out shows of Grease in the school theatre. The production was complete with a full size Greased Lightning car.

Year 10 student Oliver Tonks, who played the lead role of Danny Zuko, said: “This is my first show at Baxter College and I’ve loved every second of it.

“The cast, crew and teachers have worked together as a fantastic team.”

Principal Dave Seddon was full of praise for the quality of the performances but particularly for the team work that was generated.

He said: “There was a lovely atmosphere and the students and staff contributed to making this our best production yet.

“I was very proud to see all their hard work acknowledged by sell out audiences.”
