FIRE crews worked to stop 50 litres of spilled diesel from entering the water course in Stourport yesterday (February 18).
One appliance from Kidderminster attended the scene in Worcester Road at around 4.50pm following a crash involving a HGV and one private LGV.
Crews made the scene safe and stopped the spillage from entering a nearby stream.
A spokesman from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Approximately 50 litres of diesel was spilt onto the road, the remainder was contained in the tank by the crew and was prevented from entering the water course."
