THE spring cleaning has been completed at Harvington Hall as they prepare for their opening this weekend.
As well as thorough cleaning of the Hall, much necessary restoration work has been completed such as re-laying the shop floor, upgrading fire alarm systems and installing new lighting in the Tea Room.
This year, the Hall has extended its opening times to start on Saturday, February 28, through to Sunday, November 1. The 2015 leaflet, which is available on the website www.harvingtonhall.com has a full programme of events from Living History Weekends to outdoor music and theatre, Christmas events and special family friendly tours.
The first event, Elizabethan Living History, takes place this weekend (February 28 and March 1), and to celebrate re-opening, the re-enactment group will be out in force to bring the Hall’s Elizabethan roots to life.
