PUPILS from a primary school in Kidderminster are keeping fit and active with their new playground equipment.

Foley Park Community Primary School received their new equipment, thanks to donations from Councillor Nathan Desmond and the Friends of Foley Park Parent and Teacher Association.

Councillor Desmond said: “I was delighted to support such an excellent cause.

“It’s vital that we get children of all ages participating in activity, as it will help with their health, social and educational development.

“Obviously this equipment will be a major benefit to the school and its pupils.”

Mr Philptts, PTA treasurer, said: “Thanks to parental support, we have had a successful year of fundraising.

“We had the request from the lunchtime assistants and we are pleased to contribute to the cost of the new equipment and it is great to see the kids using it so enthusiastically.”
